Hello everybody,
could you clarify for me on the limitations of transfer speeds on single threads?
I have installed two MA2500D in the house. MoCA link speeds are at ~2500. Internet line is fiber (1000Mbits/500Mbits)
Using iperf3 (and something like -w 128k -P 16) i can nearly saturate the gigabit line.
Using a single thread, the maximum i have reached is at 125 Mbits/sec.
Applications and tests like the default google speedtest are all limited to a maximum of 125 Mbits/sec if they
do not explicitly use multiple threads.
Is this a general limitation of the MoCA 2.5 protocol, or specific to this adapter?
I learned a lot from your site nytimes crossword, and you may want to learn more about earlier video games to make more engaging experiences. I hope to work with you.
