In Everything for MoCA
I have a little MoCA network with AT&T Fiber (BGW210) connecting to a goCoax and on to the internal cable, with another goCoax in a guest bedroom connected to a Roku Ultra, and an Actiontec WCB6200Q with firmware 1.2.03.4 (I can't upgrade it, but it was cheap and works well) on another cable in the living room, connected to an Nvidia Shield and a Roku TV via ethernet. I use the Actiontec for Wifi as well -- the living room is centrally located, and I use my laptop, Alexa, Google Home devices, cell phone, etc on it. Everything seems stable and no serious speed issues, but we are going to have several guests over the summer that will be using wifi and the guest bedroom (and of course the TV in the living room and the wifi off of the BGW210), and I would like to make sure the settings on the goCoax an Actiontec were the best combination of speed and stability. For example, I saw a post that said to use D-band low mode with the Actiontec, which I did with the unit attached to the BGW210, but I don't know if that restricts data to the other goCoax, or if I should set that goCoax on D-band low mode (or if I should change a setting on the Actiontec). Any suggestions for improving the settings would be appreciated. Thanks!
