In Everything for MoCA
I recently got the MA2500C MOCA adapter. I have 3 other MOCA adapters (by GoCoax WF-803M models) which are all working fine. After I got the new adapter, I noticed that there was a new firmware update so I attempted to update the MA2500C. The update seemed to get stuck because around 5 minutes went by and it still said "transferring file over 0%." I refreshed my browser webpage and a bunch of giberish appeared (weird symbols). I tried a different web browser but now I couldn't access the web interface. I tried to reset the adapter by the reset button (I pressed and help the reset button down as I powered on the device for more than 10 seconds; I also tried holding the reset button for more than 10 seconds after I powered on the device after about 10 seconds), but it appears as if that doesn't work. Now the only green light I see is the power LED, but the adapter doesn't seem so see the MOCA network at all. It saw the MOCA network before the attempted firmware update. The other 3 MOCA adapters that I have are still working fine during this time; only the new one is the problem. I took the new adapter and connected it to one of the working old adapters to see if the MOCA LED light would light up on the new adapter. It did not. They were directly connected and they don't "see" each other. I attached the new adapter in place of where the working old one was, and still it did not work. I ruled out a faulty splitter, coaxial cable, and ethernet cable. Since I am within the time frame of being able to get a replacement for these on Amazon, this is an easy fix for me, but now I'm worried about what I'm supposed to do if this happens to me in the future and I can't get a free replacement. It seems like the firmware the new adapter was working on just ceased to exist after the update failure or it's corrupted. Is there a way to flash the adapter without logging into the web interface? How am I to fix this problem in the future if the reset button doesn't work. UPDATE 06/13/22: I received the new adapter today and it works as expected. I will not be updating for the time being because I'm afraid the same issue will happen.

In Everything for MoCA
Unmanaged network switch is Linksys SE3008 8-Port that is connected to a Netgear Orbi RBR20 which only has two ports (1 WAN and 1 LAN). The WAN is connected to the modem obviously, but the 1 LAN port is connected to the network switch for additional needed ports. Everything works great until the switchport that the moca adapter is in keeps dropping to only Fast Ethernet at 100mbps. If I take the ethernet cable out (the one that is connected to the GoCoax) and put it back in, I am getting 936mbps on average from a computer connected to the switch by CAT6 and around 600mbps over WiFi by the Orbi Satellite RBS20. It keeps dropping the speeds and I don't understand why. The only solution I can think of is getting a new router that has more than 2 ports on it so I can bypass the network switch and connect the GoCoax adapter directly to the router. I am also thinking that a managed switch could fix the problem if I command the one specific port to only work at a specific bandwidth. I have tried switching out coaxial cables and ethernet cables thinking that was my issue, but to no avail. I at first thought that maybe the switchport went bad and tried a different one, but same issue, so then I also tried switching out my network switch (I bought a new one thinking my old one crapped out on me, but still same issue). I would ideally like to fix this without any additional purchases, but if it can't be helped then so be it. Anyone have any ideas or help?
