Hi No - unfortunately not. I have given up and have 5 units cheap for sale here in Denmark 😥 I did get conversation going with goCoax support, but then the communication from them stopped for unknown reasons. I have since wired the key parts of my house with Ethernet. Besides the labor (i did it myself) the parts (cables, wall plugs, tools etc) were a lot cheaper than the 5 MoCA units I bought, so I guess there's a lesson to be learned in there somewhere... But my connectivity is now rock solid, future proof and I try not to look back 🤣

@J. C. yeah - I would rather not like to run ethernet cables for this. It's kind of the point with buying the MoCA adapters in the first place 😉 I will try option 2 as soon as time permits - I have no problems connecting to the web GUI 😊 I will also try to verify if the PoE filters actually cause the modem to not work. I suspect this is the case due to the overlap in frequencies. I will try connecting the cable directly from the ISP to the modem with and without the PoE filter in between with nothing else attached. Just to learn from the experience.

@J. C. This was my thinking too - I could not understand the second network diagram here on the product page of this website if the PoE filters removes parts of the frequency the modem needs. So I guess I have 3 options now: 1. Use one of the coax strings directly from the ISP to the modem (like I have now) and find another way to run an ethernet cable from the rack to another TV wallplug with a MoCA adapter to the rest of the (now isolated) coax network 2. Tune the band settings in the MoCA adapters to work only on frequencies above the modems upper limit of 1218 MHz 3. Hope @goCoax has a better suggestion 😊 Thanks again, Henrik

@J. C. Thanks for your answers The PoE filters I have allows 5-1002 MHz and blocks 1125-3000 MHz My splitters allows 5-2400MHz. Both should be MoCA compatible. I'm pretty sure my cable modem uses an upper frequency of 1218 MHz - that's why I tried configuring my setup like network diagram number 2 on the product page https://www.gocoax.com/copy-of-products But when I do the cable modem won't get a internet connection. If I remove the MoCA adapters and PoE filters the cable modem works on various wall plugs through the splitters just fine. I've reached out to @goCoax as well for advice. As soon as I get time I will try to adjust the band settings as you mention. Will it affect performance do you think? Thanks again, Kind regards, Henrik

@J. C. I actually found my modem on the Cablelabs website and it is listed with a upper frequency of 1218 MHz, so it seems to be this conflict I am chasing. I just got the impression that this was what the PoE filters should solve, but it does not seem so. Hence my previous reply to your post on setting the MoCA band above D4

A small update: Unfortunately using 2 splitters and 2 PoE filter like the second scenario on the product page does not work. 😥 The cable modem will not get a connection and behaves the same as if cabled like the first scenario. The cable modem only works if no MoCA adapters are on the network - it will work through the splitters just fine. So I'm a little lost at the moment and will have to create a workaround somehow.

Thanks to all who contributed to this - I have now ordered additional 3 MoCA adapters for a total of 5 to use around the house. Also order a second two-way splitter + 2 PoE filters to be able to configure the network like we see in the second drawing on the product page. Once my fiber connection gets delivered it will be a simpler setup, but that could take a while still. So I am really happy and grateful for all your answers that helped me get to this point. 😀

@J. C. Thanks for this advice - will try this if I get into issues once the PoE filter arrives. Did not know I could "set my MoCA band above D4" to avoid the conflict.

@J. C. and others - here's the drawing attached. Sorry for the poor standard 😀 "TV WP" means the different wall plugs that will be used for plugging in MoCA adapters. And off couse a MoCA adapter will be placed in the rack as well.

I do have childish stick-figure type drawing - I will try to get this uploaded tomorrow when I'm back at my normal computer 😉 Fiber is ordered, but delayed so I have the 300/60 Mbps coax cable for now. This is the older DOCSIS 3.0 standard, but the modem is a DOCSIS 3.1 modem - hence my suspicsion about this causing the issues. I was wondering about the PoE filter because it seems I need 2 of them as well as 2 splitters due to the overlap in frequencies - according to the second drawing on the product page I was referring to.

I did get my first two devices and have been testing all night. So basically the MoCA side of things seems to work fine. I am getting full gigabit speed out of most of my TV wall plugs. A few drops below to about 6-800 Mbps, but I guess this is an old installation with potential issues. But I cannot get the cable modem to function when it is connected through the adapter on the "TV" plug - like on the first drawing of the product page: MoCA 2.5 | MoCA Ethernet adapter (gocoax.com) I am guessing my cable modem is a DOCSIS 3.1 modem and I fall into the second drawing and need a second splitter and PoE filter? My modem is a Sagemcom F@ST 3890 V3, but I have not been able to verify if this is whats causing the issue? (the thing with the upper frequency) Also I'm not sure I understand what the PoE filter is doing in this scenario. Any advice on how to buy the right PoE filter here in Europe is appreciated. Hopefully later this year I will be getting a fiber connection and will not be using the cable modem anymore, so that will drop me into the third drawing.

Thanks for the answer guys. Not sure about the PoE filter thing, as I am not going to use the cable TV provider for anything. My internet provider does not use coax. So the "In" port of the splitter would not be used at all. Only the "Out" ports to try and connect the 3 coax "string" that run around in the house. All I'm trying to accomplish is reuse the coax cabling in the building for data instead. @ploog I realize you are trying to answer this - sorry if you already did 😀 @goCoax The specs on the splitter I have says 5 MHz to 2500 MHz. Or I can order one of those @ploog links to if this does not work. I will test the components once I get them all and try to make a drawing of the setup if I still need help.
