Connection Really Slow
In Everything for MoCA

Yes, I wiggled the coax. I have no major appliance next to the coax cable. I have an outlet and a power strip/surge protector nearby, perhaps right next to part of the cable. I don't know if that would make any difference. At the moment I'm only getting internet from Fios.

I wiggled the coax cable and now I'm getting expected speeds. I sometimes had to do that to receive a certain channel on Fios TV which runs over Moca. Maybe it found a closer server on the testing site, though it should have done that automatically the first time. I connect my computer to the network wirelessly via a Tp-Link router. The aforementioned speed test was run on a Playstation. Thanks

I'd be fine with speeds around 175Mbps, but I'm getting 7Mbps with a slow ping. I think one of the coax cables are bad. I have an ethernet adapter on the way for my laptop.

Unfortunately my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port. I see adapters for around $30. If the MoCA link rate is not okay, is it an easy fix? I was getting full speed over MoCa with my last set up using the same cables.
