WF-803M: Great upload but bad download speed

in Everything for MoCA

Hi,

I own 2x WF-803M and am on the latest firmware on both: v1.0.12

I noticed I get great upload speed (600Mbps) but only half download speed (300Mbps)

Do you know what could be the issue or how to troubleshoot?

I'm on fiber (Download 1Gbs - Upload 600 Mbs.)

It’s surprising to see great upload but poor download speeds on the WF-803M. Might be worth checking coax splitters, firmware updates, or interference from other devices. Also, try using tools like ennot.us to track troubleshooting steps and share notes easily.

Hi,

False alert. I was using an online speed test. Probably a server selection issue.

I switched to iperf3 to test in between my network coax nodes and also with online iperf3 servers and could see I reached my maximum fiber bandwidth even with Moca encryption enabled.

This is much much better than my power line adapters :)
