I'll be using the gocoax for a backhaul to my mesh AP. The only thing I'm unsure of is the need for a POE filter. Here is my setup.
Demark to antronix ground block that shows 5-1002MHz input....so it's demark/internet ground block to....modem....to ethernet to router...Ethernet to gocoax...RG6...to gocoax to ethernet to AP. Is it necessary to install the POE filter before the demark? I have no splitters from exterior to in home wiring cabinet. It's all straight RG6 to my cabinet. Thanks...

Can you provide more detail on the "RG6" component in the above connection? Is this a single direct connection between the MoCA adapters, or does "RG6" represent an interconnected RG6 coax tree?
If you have a direct connection between the adapters, either using a single unbroken coax line or two lines joined using a 3 GHz F-81 barrel connector, then your MoCA signals would be isolated to this dedicated coax link and so wouldn't be able to slip out onto the cable provider premise ... obviating the need for a MoCA filter at the cable signal point-of-entry (PoE). Similarly, even if you are using a splitter to interconnect coax outlets in the home, if this MoCA-infused coax segment isn't physically linked to the cable provider feed, then a "PoE" MoCA filter wouldn't be needed for securing your MoCA network; however, a MoCA filter may be beneficial in improving the performance/efficiency of split coax plant, depending on its complexity.
Further, unnecessarily adding a "PoE" MoCA filter may be problematic in the future, if/when your cable ISP begins using DOCSIS 3.1, 4.0, + frequencies above 1002 MHz that overlap with MoCA frequencies.
