WF-803M used to be plug n play. MA2500D isn't anymore. What happened?

I have had 2 WF-803M working perfectly for 2 years. 1 connected to router and 1 connected to bridge mode AP.

When I add MA2500D, the MA2500D doesn't treat them like the WF-803M used to.

The only way the MA2500D works and serves a connection is if I connect a router to it first. Then it'll offer data.

But this is not the intended use-application. I cannot have a router connected to each and every single MA2500D I have on the network.

The use application is that the MA2500D (3rd device) needs to be connected to a switch without a router.

Something weird happened between the WF-803M and the MA2500D to change things.

Do I need to go find a bunch of old WF-803M to make things work smoothly again?

Is the WF-803M and MA2500D cross-compatible?

Cause the old one used to just plug n play, the MA2500D isn't.

Please update the firmware so the WF-803M and MA2500D are backwards/cross compatible. It seems like they don't want to talk to eachother like usual. This is a time sensitive project so I'm a little disappointed this has been overlooked.

If I could delete this entire post, I would. Cause I did a big ol' goof.

The coax line I was working with was blocked by old dish satellite wires/amplifiers. When I cancelled satellite service, they left their junk on my roof and just expected someone else to deal with it. Off-topic: if it were up to me, I'd write a law that mandates satellite companies are required to clean up their junk from people's homes upon account cancellations.

Anyways, I had to get on a ladder and remove their junk from the line. I had to get a few splitter and create a safe loop to make sure all the lines I needed were connected to the splitters I needed to work with. That's it. Now my target coax line is working as intended.

Please forgive my stupidity. I'm learning.
