TV Artefacts

in Everything for MoCA

Hi,

I live in an appartement. The internet and TV signal is attached via cable.

Unfortunatelly I see a lot of pixel issues / artefacts in TV signal once MoCa network is running.

Any help for that?

I use 2x goCoax MA2500D and the official SP-2 splitter and the PoE filter from the same package.

The internet modem/router (AVM Cable 6600) uses DOCSIS3.1. Due to that I have installed the recommended PoE filter based on the description from here:

Every 1-2 seconds I see artefacts in TV signal. It is somehow matched to the traffic ethernet LED on the goCoax device.

Pixelation with MoCA setups can often be fixed by checking splitter quality, PoE filter placement, or coax terminations. Sometimes just swapping cables helps too.
