I was able to get two devices (WF-803M) connected and ideally want to run one to a new mesh unit with wired/Moca backhaul.
Everything seems to be working at first until the signal will randomly die. This was causing major issues for my mesh point (Synology) and eventually I tried just plugging in another computer directly... Again it is working great until it randomly disconnects a few hours later and needs to be reset to re-establish connection.
Is there anything that I can try to debug this issue? It has been incredibly frustrating.
I just swapped this:

Which I am guessing should help?
Here's my link status for the two devices in the admin:
If you're experiencing signal drops with your CapCut video editor, try restarting your device or checking your internet connection. If you're still having problems, try contacting CapCut support for help.
I have this same problem. https://www.gocoax.com/forum/everything-for-moca/interruptions-every-10-30-minutes-on-moca-network-3x-ma2500c-1x-wf-803m
However, I see this post was opened in August and there are no replies from Gocoax. Are they even active here? Should I leave a bad review and get another brand with a different chipset?
I too have a similar issue and have no idea how to troubleshoot it. Is there any way to debug/tap the connection or point the devices to a syslog server or something like that?
I have a problem which sounds similar.
I have 3 gocoax units connected to one another. They all have good connectivity most of the time. They worked great for many months with the latest .12 firmware. But over the past month, one of them has started disconnecting randomly every 6-24 hours or so. It starts working again after I reboot it. The one which fails is the one which is connected to my house wifi access point. I run the 3 gocoax units with static IPs.
When the 1 gocoax unit disconnects from the other two, I can still strangely contact it from a computer connected to one of the other two gocoax units. When I look at its web UX, it shows the 3x3 MOCA connection grid, but the signal strength shows 0 in all cells. That is really bizarre, given that the connection I'm using to get to its web UI must be using the gocoax connection from another unit to the failing unit. But when the gocoax unit is in this state, none of the device connected to that weird-state unit, can get through to speak to anything else on my network.
Is there any way to collect logs to help submit for troubleshooting?
I'm considering replacing the 1 gocoax which is failing with a different unit, in case this could be a hardware issue. Alternatively, I might also downgrade to the .6 firmware, although I doubt that'll do the trick, since I've had month of trouble-free service from these gocoax units with both .12 and .6 in the past.
Is that the lone splitter in your entire setup? Can you provide more detail on your coax plant, if not?
First thought/question would be whether you have a "PoE" MoCA filter installed, as this filter both secures and strengthens the MoCA network (efficiently reflecting MoCA signals back onto the coax).
