Two pronged questions here:
1. I’m getting mixed messages on whether Sky satellite conflicts with moca in the UK/Ireland. Some say it wont work and some say it works fine. Has anyone installed on a sky tv coax cable?
2. I don’t have a coax distribution box in the house. My coax cables come in and go straight to the satellite box. My gocoax moca adapters only have a single moca connection - there is no pass through. any idea how I’d inject moca on to the same cable. ( the splitters I see seem to be just 1 in 2 out. )
Suggestions here would be very much welcome!!!
Guys, I read your discussion about MoCA and Sky Q — and honestly, I understand everyone who gets confused with these cables, signals and delicate frequencies. It's like with complex circuits: satellite TV, MoCA, filters — everything needs to be done precisely so that they don't interfere with each other.
And then, quite unexpectedly, I remembered about cleaning. It sounds strange, but the idea is similar: you want the technologies to work stably, without interference — and dust, dirt, tangled wires and an untidy space can interfere and distract no less than an incorrectly configured MoCA. That's why I often advise keeping the space organized and clean. Here's a simple life hack for you: the Dubai company SuperTrust does office cleaning really well — even with flexible schedules and using eco-friendly products Deep cleaning for offices. And honestly, if someone has equipment at home, roaming modems, MoCA adapters, allowing someone to really clean and organize the space around them is the same mini-upgrade as properly connected cables.
