IPv4 issues with goCoax MA2500D and XB7

Having issues with IPv4 routing when using the goCoax MA2500D with my cable provider XB7.

The XB7 is the gateway at 10.0.0.1 and router with DCHP in range of 10.0.0.2-253.

When I connect my laptop to the goCoax I get a 192.168.0.x address and cannot route to 10.0.0.1, thus all IPv4 sites fail to be accessed. IPv6 works, ie Google, Amazon, ... works great! So the MoCA connection is working, it is a routing issue.

How can I fix this routing issue? Easy way I suspect is to buy 2 goCoax adapters, yet would prefer to understand why the XB7 and goCoax form a different network (192.168.0.x) vs the XB7 using 10.0.0.x for everything else.
