Hi
I have 6 goCoax MA2500D units with firmware 2.0.14.0. I'm using the units over 3 separate co-ax cables, in a point to point system. The co-ax cables are already installed in the building and are about 20m long. The co-ax cables do not carry any other services. The cables are my only way of connecting different areas of the building. For a short section of the co-ax runs the cables are bundled together. The co-ax cables are 6 years old and are of good quality. I've terminated all the cables with good F types. The cables have also been tested and there is no DC connection between each of the cables. To ensure I do not get any cross talk between the 3 cables, where they run together, I'd like to tell the goCoaxs to operate on different frequencies. I've found settings on the goCoax units for Scan Mask, Scan Offset, LOF etc. I can't find any documentation to tell me what these settings do. I'm UK based, so cable isn't something we see often, so the terms are new to me. Is there a document you can point me to to explain the settings to see if I can change the goCoax's to use different frequencies? What I'm thinking of may not even be possible, but as I don't know how goCoax operate I thought I'd ask here.
The 3 cables I'm using are all working well with no errors being reported, but as I'm so reliant on the cables I'd like to do what I can to ensure continued service.
Thanks
