tldr: I have two MA2500D units, one connected to the router and one to a computer, the units see each other, I get a ping out of the network but loading a web page doesn't work. Only elements to our network I found apart from cables are as shown on the picture below and they are probably not MoCA compatible. Please help me buy what I need to get it working.
I would like to ask for your help. I have purchased two MA2500D units and was hoping everything will work out. After installing the units router - unit - coax network - unit PC the units see each other, but MoCA rates as shown on the second picture are about 30% of the supposed 2.5G connection. I can ping outside of the network on my PC, but any website doesn't load.
After checking where all the coax connections lead to I have found this beauty as shown on the first picture, which I have no idea what the purpose of is. We do not use and the network wasn't used for a long time so there is no one who knows how the network is constructed and the such.
I would like to renovate the network so we can use the moca adapters so we have cable internet in other parts of the house as well and ideally to not have to run an ethernet cable through somewhere where my wife would see. I have tried running Powerline adapters but unfortunately that makes around 20/25 Mbits from 250/100 Mbits which isn't ideal.
I am happy supplying more photos if needed, though the metal boxes have no inscriptions on them.
