Aside from the 803M having the TV out jack I am not seeing a whole lot different between the two.
What am I missing?

Honestly, you’re not missing much — you’re right that the WF803M mainly adds the TV out jack. Functionally, both the MA2500D and WF803M perform almost the same when it comes to MoCA performance. The main difference comes down to convenience and how you want to set up your coax line. Some people prefer the WF803M if they need to keep their TV signal running on the same line, while the MA2500D is a bit simpler if you don’t need that feature.
By the way, when I was comparing gear setups, I had a similar experience choosing between apps for editing — like https://cepcutproapk.com/ vs others. They basically do the same job, but little things (like an extra feature or output option) can make one more convenient depending on your setup. Same idea applies here.
