@ploog Yup, it's the same product, and it's obvious it's a GoCoax adapter, with a slight tweak to manually select the frequency band (shell, and product identifier are essentially the same as WF-803M).

Exact same use case here, 2.5GbE-capable NAS in a remote closet, need it for backup and virtual machine access (my mac supports 2.5/5/10GBe natively, Aquantia chip). Backups tend to make the VM connection jittery, as they saturate the 1GbE connection when they run (the NAS has SSDs and can do a lot more than 1GbE, so that's a bottleneck). Tried the Actiontec 2.5GbE adapters, they don't play well with the Aquantia chips, I barely get 700Mbps (known PHY bug from our good friends from Intel). Hoping the GoCoax adapters will work better.
