I just purchased two MA2500D, followed the correct topology, placed a POE filter at the line coming in. I did the IP address static setup for each unit as well. However, neither seem to adopt an IP address when plugged into the router or on the other end. Also I tried to download the firmware upgrade but the file seems corrupt. I am using a Mac, with tp link Omaha EAP's, switch, and an arris surfboard s33. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

MA2500D is designed to extend network connectivity at home using MoCA 2.5 technology slope unblocked.
The second moca adaptor is still giving me trouble; it is currently not showing a moca signal from the at coax line, and I'm not sure why. Bitlife
You mentioned setting up static IP addresses for the EAPs. Ensure that the static IP addresses are in the highway racer 2 same subnet as your router and other devices on the network. Double-check that there are no IP address conflicts within your network.
Finally got things working. I think the splitter outside my house had some bad ports and once I switched the line everything worked like a charm, getting 900+ mbps wired which is great. The AP showed up to be provisioned and added to my tp link Omaha controller. I did not end up using any of POE filters and otherwise kept the diagram the same. Also was able to upgrade both adapters to the newest firmware.
I am still having difficulty getting the second moca adapter to work, not showing a moca signal now from the at coax line and not Sure why.
Hi nkatariya, I plan to make a similar setup, could you let me know if the wifi signal broadcasted by purple router and green WIFI AP are in the same network? are the devices connected to router and AP discoverable for each other?
Thanks
This is an accurate diagram. However, when I put the POE filter, I was not getting good signal to the house. For example my cable box went on the fritz. I removed the filter and can see my first adapter on my network. Also when I try to download the updated firmware from the support link on your website it is an invalid archive. I though maybe updating both moca adapters could help.
Could you draw a smiple network diagram? We will check it for you.
