Recently I setup a Moca network. Moca is what provides a fast connection in my home office, which is what I need for my work-from-home setup. When it's working, it's very fast, and iperf3 tests reveal speeds greater than 2gb over my 2.5gb switches! Very happy with the speeds, but the reliability is very bad. What can I do to make this reliable? I feel like my entire setup is ideal.
This is an isolated Moca network. It DOES NOT connect to my point-of-entry from the cable company.
Setup:
1 MA2500C connected to "in" on my BAMF SB-2008A (2300Mhz) splitter. Also, this MA2500C connects to my 2.5gb head-end switch.
All other Moca adapters connected to "out" on the splitter. There are NO OTHER SPLITTERS.
All Coax cables are cable-company grade RG6 @3Ghz.
My link-rate table. Looks great!
No dropped packets??? Not so sure...

Thank you i really nead it, this information very good for everyone. If you free time , you can play game Run 3 or tunnel rush with me
Does GoCoax offer support at all? This whole forum is full of unresolved issues.
I am having problems that resemble this issue with my MA2500D adapters.
I have a very simple network: I use the MA2500D devices to bridge between my two rooms in the house using my existing satellite cabling, which has 2.5ghz splitters.
This worked reliably for a while, but now is getting very unreliable. I started monitoring the connectivity and this is the graph showing when the connection is 'up' or down, based on pinging the device from my server: it's been up about 2/3 of the time in the last 24 hours, and is currently "down"
network diagram:
Can you give me any hints on how to diagnose and fix this issue? Is there any reason I can find for the connection dropouts?
How often is this monitored? Is there another path to getting support? I posted this 3 days ago and I've provided all the details requested.
How can I get support on this?
Hi. Here are the answers to your questions:
1) Fiber, but I was using cable just a few weeks ago and I had the same issue. I don't think it matters, because as I mentioned above, this is an isolated Moca network. It DOES NOT connect to the point of entry from the cable provider.
2) There are several devices running on the Coax network, but not very many at once. My computer and my wife's computer are connected to it, and we experience interruptions at the same time. The interruption can last up to a minute, and it's exactly like what's described in this post: Random disconnects for 60 seconds twice a day. MOCA LED turns off then on again | goCoax
3) Sure, here is a detailed diagram. It does not show every client, but it shows many of them. Please read this carefully... Connected to the 5-port switch in the diagram are a Roku and a Steam Link. The Steam Link steams games from a PC. When an interruption occurs, it will fail exactly like this post: Drop connection directly on routeur | goCoax. It's different for Roku... when watching videos, it buffers ahead, so the video is never interrupted, but the quality will drop dramatically.
Also, I took a PCAP from my work computer when an outage occurred. Please analyze.

There are several posts on this forum that indicate the same problem. Please help us resolve it with a new firmware.
Hello,
Yes, the MoCA link rate is good.
We have several questions want to check.
1, What kind of ISP are you using, Cable or Fiber?
2, Are there any other devices runing over the Coaxial network?
3, Coud you draw a simple network diagram?
Many thanks.
